Fear and faith can’t live in the same house

This is a statement I made during my interview with Rhonda Lawson and Gwen Richardson. I was the type of person that let fear prevent me from living my life to the fullest. Sometimes I may have wanted to start a business, learn a new skill, and I talked myself out of it because of what others may think of my ideas. I was afraid I would fail. This is when I didn’t have the faith to put into action what was in my heart and fear won. I am glad to say that today I am no longer that person. I am loving my life and living outside of my comfort zone and it is awesome! I give thanks to God for allowing me this opportunity. I know that sometimes things may not work out and if they don’t, I just know that it wasn’t meant for me and it wasn’t my season and keep it moving. So I encourage you on today, don’t let fear stop you and remember one of my favorite scriptures, Philippians 4:13. I ask you this one question, how do you know if you will ever succeed, if you never try? Have an awesome day!

Birthdays

I recently celebrated another birthday. I took a moment and reflected back on all that has happened since my birthday on last year. I have many good memories and some not so good. I have lost family members and many people that I have known. We are now currently in a pandemic. It made me take a minute and count my blessings and I come up with the same conclusion that no matter what the circumstances are around us, God is still in control! Enjoy your day and blessings to you and your family. Stay safe!

Thank you to all that came to my book signing on yesterday. It was great and I enjoyed seeing some friends that I have not saw in a long time. Thank you to the ones that stopped by to show support. Thank you also to the ones that could not make it and sent me messages of encouragement. To all of my readers and followers I thank you all as well. May God forever bless each of you.
