I just wanted to share a moment I had with my daughter on last week. I had a rough day, felt frustrated and was feeling a little down about a situation. Sometimes we all have those moments. I had to stop and take a minute to encourage myself. I know God has taken care of me through much worse than the temporary situation and I would be okay. A storm was approaching, the wind was blowing, and there was thunder and lightning. In the past, my daughter would always get close to me during bad weather and I would remind her to pray and ask God to protect her. Well, it was different on this day. She also was looking outside and saw the storm coming and said,”Mommy, I don’t have to be afraid because God will protect me.” I was surprised by her statement and encouraged. It was just another reminder that even when things seem bad, God is still there and protects us. I took a moment to see the good in the bad situation and knew I didn’t have to worry, just like my daughter. So smile, be encouraged and stay safe. Philippians 4:19 – My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
