For the past year now, I have made the comment, “I need more time”. I needed to spend more time with my family, more time to finish projects, more time to clean my house, and to meditate. Due to recent events, I got just what I wanted. I realize I take time for granted on so many occasions. I removed items that have accumulated over the years that are no longer needed. I had to throw away things and some things will be donated. If I had managed my time more wisely, I may not have needed more time. I could have taken a moment to remove an outfit that I had outgrown years ago and then I would not have had ten outfits taking up space. I could have put my phone down for ten minutes and meditated instead of playing a game. After a suggestion from a friend on last week, I started family night. We all had to put our phones downs for 10 minutes and spent time together with no distractions. This week that 10 minutes turned into an hour. We all enjoyed ourselves. These are all things I have taken for granted but I am taking the time to do better. I encourage you to do the same. Time is a valuable, make the most of it because once it is gone, we can not get it back. Stay safe everyone!
Time….

I am a mother, writer and business professional. I published my first fiction book, Broken Vows”. I live in Mississippi. I love reading, writing and spending time with my family. I love to talk to people and offer a word of encouragement. I am stepping out on faith and pursuing one of my dreams of being a published author. I have learned that as long as I have faith, move forward and cast fear out of my mind; I will succeed. Remember Philippians 4:13. I hope my blog touches the lives of all that read it. Feel free to follow me and share with your friends and family. View all posts by Curley West
